Research on circadian rhythms shows that environmental stimuli, such as light and temperature, modulate our internal clocks, indicating a variety of biological and environmental interactions.

“Earth Tide” uses digital connectivity to transform global climate data into an immersive soundscape. By aggregating real-time meteorological data and translating it into sound, the project creates a way to interact with the environment. This auditory representation allows participants to engage with the climatic conditions of distant places and fosters a spatial connection. The work bridges physical distances, digital technologies, and expands our understanding of global environmental dynamics through the temporal present in other places.

Forschungen zu zirkadianen Rhythmen zeigen, dass Umweltreize wie Licht und Temperatur unsere inneren Uhren modulieren, was auf eine Vielzahl von biologischen und umweltbedingten Wechselwirkungen hinweist.

„Erdenflut“ nutzt digitale Konnektivität, um globale Klimadaten in eine immersive Klanglandschaft zu verwandeln. Durch die Aggregation von Echtzeit-Meteorologiedaten und deren Übersetzung in Klang schafft das Projekt eine Möglichkeit, mit der Umwelt zu interagieren. Diese auditive Darstellung ermöglicht es den Teilnehmern, sich mit den klimatischen Bedingungen entfernter Orte auseinanderzusetzen und eine räumliche Verbindung zu fördern.
